Classification of Mainstream Greenhouses

1. Single Plastic Arch Greenhouse (Simple Greenhouse)
- Structure: Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe arches covered with single-layer plastic film, no side walls, with roll-up film on both sides for ventilation
- Features: Lowest construction cost, fast assembly and flexible disassembly; poor heat preservation, only suitable for crop cultivation and seedling raising in spring and autumn
- Application: Short-term cultivation of vegetables, fruits and edible fungi by individual farmers
2. Solar Greenhouse (Warm Winter Greenhouse, mainstream type in northern China)
- Structure: Three heat storage walls made of rammed earth or brick, front slope covered with film, equipped with electric thermal insulation quilts for night coverage
- Features: The walls absorb heat during the day and release it at night, enabling off-season crop production in winter without additional heating, energy-saving and cost-effective
- Application: Off-season cultivation of tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and leafy vegetables in northern China in winter
3. Multi-span Film Greenhouse
- Structure: Integrated multi-span arched sheds with large-space steel frame, equipped with external sunshades, fan and wet curtain cooling systems, and top ventilation windows
- Features: High land utilization rate, convenient for mechanized and large-scale continuous production, excellent cooling and ventilation performance
- Application: Large agricultural parks, flower bases, fruit-picking gardens and seedling nurseries
4. PC Sunboard Greenhouse
- Covered with hollow polycarbonate sunboards, featuring better impact resistance and heat preservation than plastic film, with a service life of 8 to 15 years
- Application: High-end flower seedling raising, ecological restaurants, sightseeing agriculture and scientific research test greenhouses
5. Intelligent Glass Greenhouse (High-end Modern Greenhouse)
- Covered with tempered glass with the highest light transmittance, corrosion resistance and long service life; equipped with fully automatic intelligent control systems
- Supporting facilities: Automatic temperature control, integrated water and fertilizer system, supplementary lighting, carbon dioxide enrichment and IoT remote monitoring
- Application: Plant factories, scientific breeding research, high-end flower cultivation and premium soilless culture bases
